Statecraft is a free social online game of grand strategy that pits your skills as a Great Leader against those of your friends, classmates, coworkers, and rivals. The rule of an empire—its people, economy, military, and diplomacy—is vested in you alone. You compete to be the first on the continent to attain the status of Great Leader. Whether your realm stands or falls in the struggle for control of an entire continent is up to you!

Everyone Can Play…
At Their Own Pace

Statecraft is a no-pressure, fun-only environment. Unlike many other online games there are no complicated manuals to read—the in-game information and advisers let you learn as you play. Once you’ve mastered the basics, you can choose just to play a few fun games with your friends, or you can devote as much time as you’d like to honing your strategic skills. Your level of involvement is up to you, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t intense competition! However you choose to play the game, Statecraft’ “Discover Player” feature can help you find other players in the Statecraft network who play like you do.

Your Own Continent

Every member of the Statecraft network may create personalized instances of the game of Statecraft (called continents). The founder of each continent can customize the rules of the game so that it’s a new and unique challenge every time you play.

Friends in High Places

Once you’ve created a game, you can invite your friends to join. You can also search out fresh opponents on the Statecraft network and make yourself findable by others. Either way, Statecraft is your network and your game.
