Flashcards is quite simple to use, really. You will enter vocabulary as “flashcards”, which you will organize in “lists”, which you will store in a “curriculum” files.
Flashcards should make a new curriculum file for you automatically when you open the program, and you can make a new curriculum file yourself at any time by choosing the File > New (Command + N) menu item.
Lists appear in the left-hand column of a curriculum file’s window. To make a new list, just press the “+” button in the bottom-left corner of a curriculum file’s window or choose the Curriculum > New List (Command + L) menu item. Rename the list as you would in any Apple program: double-click the list name, type a new name, then press Return (or click outside of the edit box).
Flashcards for selected lists appear in the right-hand column of a curriculum file’s window; when no lists are selected, all flashcards in the curriculum appear there.
To make new flashcards, just choose the Curriculum > New Flashcards… (Command + K) menu item. A sheet will roll down over the curriculum file’s window, from which you can enter data for new flashcards. When you’re done, just press the Close button.
